Decades ago this 600 sq ft apartment was purchased by a German Art student studying in New York. She let it to tenants until the start of Covid when she wanted it gutted and turned into a pied a terre for herself, her husband and two teenaged sons. The brief was to open the tiny enclosed kitchen, enlarge the bathroom and design the living room to accommodate her two sons when they visited.
